How to Apply to Vega School in Five Easy Steps:

Please Note, You’ll Need the Following to Start Your Application:

  • A valid email address and mobile number
  • ID/passport number
  • R850 application fee

Step One: Required Documents

You’ll need to scan the following documents and upload them to the application portal after completing your online application. Please make sure that the documents’ content is visible. You can have your documents certified by your local police station. 

  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of your Passport (for international students)
  • Certified copy of previous qualification obtained, and academic transcripts
  • Certified copy of your National Senior Certificate (matric results)

Step Three: Electronic Application Form

You’ll need to provide the following information:

  • Qualification details (Select from the Vega School courses)
  • Personal details
  • Guardian details
  • Education details

Step Four: Information Verification

Before proceeding to the next step, make sure that you have entered the required information correctly. Once you have double-checked your details, you can click next. 

Step Five: Track Your Application Status

After you have applied successfully, you’ll receive an SMS or email with a Lead ID/reference number. You can use the given reference number to track your application status.

Vega School Requirements

All Vega School courses have different requirements. Your acceptance relies heavily on your APS (Admission Point Score). Your APS is calculated by using your six best subjects of your final matric results.

The School requires a minimum of 15 points for higher certificates, 18 points for diplomas, and a minimum of 21 points for bachelor’s degrees. Take a look at the specific course requirements here.

You need a minimum of 30% for all languages and above 50% for four of the NSC (National Senior Certificate) 20-credit subjects: (Life Orientation is not a 20-credit subject)

School of Vega Dates

You must apply before the application deadline. If your application is late, you’ll be required to pay extra on your application fee. 

If you want to apply to the School of Vega while you’re still in matric, you can send in your grade 11 results. Keep in mind that you’ll have to send in your matric results as soon as it is made available.
